You may recall a lil’ reality show last year on the CW called Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For the Next Doll. Props to Asia Nitollano for winning the competition, but one other notable contestant is now getting her just desserts- runner up Melissa Reyes. She’s just released two singles on iTunes titled “Can’t Stop This Girl” and “Pedal to Your House.” Both tracks are superbly produced displaying Melissa’s clean, versatile vocals. “Can’t Stop…” is a jazzy tune that’ll make you think along the lines of Pussycat Dolls ala Nicole Scherzinger, while “Pedal…” is a ska-based b-side. You can call her a “mini-Nicole,” but you can’t stop this girl from doing her thing as she prepares to tour and release a solo album.
